Can u believe this? Apple slashed the entry price for an iPhone in half to only $99, announced by Philip Schiller, Apple Senior Vice President for Worldwide Product Marketing. Instead of paying $199, now you only pay $99 for the 8-gigabyte iphone 3GS. A 16-gigabyte version of the 3G S will cost $199 and a 32-gigabyte version will be $299.
The latest iphone operate with faster and more energy efficient processor. According to Apple this allows the new iPhone 3GS to run up to two times faster than the previous version.
Note: When the iphone debuted 2 years ago, a 4-gigabyte version cost $499 & 8GB cost $599.
