What is iGoogle
What is iGoogle ? Is it a clone of Google's search engine ?
iGoogle is a customized view of Google. You can switch from classic Google view to the customized view of iGoogle. You can add Theme to the Google's search panel, or you can add Gadget to the iGoogle. Just click on the iGoogle link at the top right corner of Google website to experience the customize view of Google.
Samsung Galaxy Tab
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the major tablet release since the Apple iPad launched.
The Tab's body is entirely made of plastic to enables it to stay pretty light at only 380g. Plastic material make the body feels less solid than the aluminium-backed iPad. At just 380g, the Galaxy Tab is a fairly lightweight device that feels comfortable to hold even with just one hand for an extended period of time.
On top of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, there's only one feature -- a 3.5mm socket for plugging in your headphones. Along the bottom, you'll find four touch-sensitive buttons (menu, home, back and search) that will be familiar to anyone experienced with Android devices. Each button glows white while you're using the Tab. The Tab can make phone calls, which is another feature that you would not find in iPad currently.
It has a glossy 7in capacitive touchscreen display with 1,024 x 600-pixel resolution. The Tablet's 1GHz Cortex A8 processor is more than capable of handling full multitasking while keeping the experience fast and snappy. Samsung has left the basic Android 2.2 (Froyo) interface untouched, with all the basic Android applications like Gmail, Google Talk and Google Maps.
In Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is retailed at RM2699. However with Maxis contract, it goes for RM1849 with 12 months and RM1749 with 24 months contract. Based on my understanding, the selling price for Galaxy Tab in Singapore is S$998.00 (around RM2400.00) which is RM299.00 cheaper if you bought the device there.
